For nights like tonight where I can do no wrong. For everyone that feels like they are getting a dry run of cards, I stress that it's only temporary. In a 90 minute session I show-downed, 4 of kind, a full boat, and a set. Doesn't sound like a big deal but I got paid off on all three! Almost back to back to back. It felt real good. Up $37 for the session.
Lots of donks at the tables tonight. I had another situation where the guy had the nut straight and did not make a value bet on the river after the turn was checked. Why? I wouldn't have called in this situation, but I would like to thank you, Mr. Donk, for being so passive.
I've learned to be very patient and not force hands against these types of players. Wait for good hands and let them pay you off.

Glad to hear your back buddy! I'll be returning Friday from a 2-day hiatus after an 11 hour slaughterfest Monday into Tuesday. I was pretty pissed but I'm ready to do battle again with the good tips/reminders I got from everyone. Let's stay focused, play solid, and learn how to exercise some disciplines of the game!
I know what your saying and I'm waiting for that time again, the other day I hit quads twice, a boat, nuts straight, was nice, since then I have been not really hitting cards but not going down either. Wednesday I ended up down .50, yesterday up 1.25. So yeah I even made some mistakes, last night I tried to bluff this guy off his high pair, I knew he had a 9 and I had AK and I thought I could get him off it, didn't work, I think I should have made my bet either larger at the end or I should have folded to start, we will never know. Looking at that new video CR that has a think..where the money comes from and has a list of someone winning $1,800 he shows the hands and knowing now that it goes more AA, KK, QQ, AK/JJ that helps out a bit looking at the percentages, so tonight when I hit AA, KK I played them strong and doubled up to AA, and got a fold on the turn with KK (still a large amount won here). I think combining video's that I'm watching is good but sometimes I go for a full bluff and that is something I need to be careful, allthough more then not I get paid off when double barreling. People are expecting me to not double barrel so they call the flop thinking they will get a free card if I don't have them dominated, by betting here a bit more I have been taking down some nice pots I usually wouldn't get to. Going to take some practicse though.
