Video

So I created a video of .01/.02 5NL to see if maybe Jerrick or Chris could do voice over on it and let me know what I'm doing right or wrong. The video is under 40 minutes, did get into some situations I was not sure on so I think this will be perfect to help me. I'm going to reply to this thread with the video once it's done rendering, takes forever..hehe. I would really appreciate the help, probably be up by tomorrow morning.

Ok got it all setup, there is like 10 seconds in the middle where the video doesn't move but it will, think that's when I opened PT when it was rendering.

Didn't run to well, I think I was up maybe two bucks at the end. I think I missed some areas where I could have got value for hands, also some hands I didn't get lucky enough to keep people in, anyway, let me know what I can do to improve if you get a chance.

Hey Kev, just checked out video.
Nice table theme, a skin you found online?

Here's some feedback for you.
-I really liked your bet sizing and continuation bets. Good job forcing villain to define their hand.
-Try to take advantage of position in general and especially when there's ONE limper in front of you. There were several times you had a marginal hand (in position remember) like Q9 suited on the button, had a limper in front, and you just folded. Not something you need to do every time but just enough.(Note if the whole table calls and you won't be able to isolate by raising because everyone will just call, limp behind in late position with hands that play well multi-way, suited connectors, Ax suited, and small pocket pairs.)
-Pot odds. One time you folded in small blind with 68 suited when the whole table already limped in. Not likely Big blind will raise so you should be completing in small blind with almost any two when the whole table limps in.
-When in the blinds and out of position, you only want to raise with very strong hands like big pairs and AK because they don't play well multi-way and need to cut the field.
(Note hands like KJ,KQ,AJ,A10, etc. also don't play well against many players but you may not get enough folds to warrant raising these in the blinds.)
-You raised with 109 suited once and pocket 66's in big blind. Like I mentioned above these hands play well multi-way so just check in blinds and be happy to see a flop cheap and get paid if you hit!

-An observation.
.01/.02 with 5 dollar buy-in is playing deep stacked. Its equivalent buying into .50/$1 table with $250 instead of $100.
There's definitely advantages to playing deep stacked but not something you will generally be able to do as you move up.
My suggestion if they have them is to play .01/.02 that has maximum of $2 buy-in.

All in all I enjoyed and hope it encourages others to create their own videos to share.

Thanks for the feedback, I have been studying a lot since this video, so since then I have tightened up on SB and loosened up on BB. I was never sure if I should open hands like K9s, K9o, Q8s...so you think I should take control of these if there are not many people in front, I will give that a shot. Tonight I noticed I need to jump up where the blinds even up more to the game, there is no $2 NL, the lowest is the $5NL, I have decided tonight to play 2 tables of $5 and 2 tables of $10NL. And man by watching a video a day you just learn more and more, not to mention tonight I COULD NOT MISS! I mean I checked on BB with hands like j7 and flopped sets...I must have hit 8 sets on 1 table in about an hour and a half. 1 of those times I got to stack off and took it down. All together I made $38.33 tonight in 1.67 hours...I mean that's awesome and that's what I needed, a boost so I can stick around the $10 tables, on the $5 they just never have full buyins, and if they do, they don't spend it. Like I said very lucky today, I hit the river with straights about 4 times...nothing could stop me, I know it won't always be that way..haha
Thanks for the advice, I was mainly worried about my betting patterns and my button play at this point, and wasn't sure if I should have stayed in on one hand that I folded..guess we will never know.

Also:
(Note hands like KJ,KQ,AJ,A10, etc. also don't play well against many players but you may not get enough folds to warrant raising these in the blinds.)

are you saying I should just call on SB and BB with these hands, because I have for the most part been raising them up to isolate..bit confused on this part.

P.S. - The table themes are available inside pokerstars, Options | Table theme, then there you can select which you want with what cards you want, some download some they have already. Ocean is calming to keep ya relaxed..haha
