Nice thanks! I'm downloading it now, unfortunately the download rate is a lot slower then the last video, so will take about 40 minutes or so, probably check it out tomorrow.
Cool, let me know what you think afterwards. I 4-tabled 2/4 and 3/6.
Yea you have to pay if you want some benefits like faster upload and download. If this is something we are gonna keep doing, maybe someone can find a better site, server, something!
Yeah, I thought of making a short video once I get more up to par, maybe that you guys can look over and tell me what mistakes I'm doing, I'll give it a bit more though, still getting everything together.
So I watched the first 45 minutes of the video and wow, I can't imagine playing with that much money. Game appears so much different then now, barely see any flops. Can't wait to see the rest after work, had to sleep was up past midnight. Thanks for the video, hoping you did a poker tracker review afterwards, curious how everything turned out.
I definitely think the videos are a great way to share.
Bingo, what programs are you using to do the capture and transcoding? Also, I can give your friend that has started playing author access to the blog. Just send me his e-mail address. It would be great to grow the blog to a small community of players that are serious about improving their game.
Good vid bingo, much better. I heard your little girl helped with the audio input, lol. but all in all it was some good info, good betting strategies, very useful. keep 'em coming.
Wow another video can't wait, I checked out your second and started playing after that, wow I noticed an instant gain in my game. I did well tonight so far up $15.04, for .01/02 5NL that's pretty good, 3 buy ins. Everytime someone reraised me I never stood my ground, now I do and reraise back and wow do they drop the cards quickly! I also paid a lot of attention to position, I won over $10 on the button. Also, had some luck on a showdown, my JJ beat QQ, it's funny though, after the flop I hit my set, then he went all in, easy decission for me.
Just got done watching the video, thanks it was good. Had a question though, how did you make out? I know you took some hits at the first half but it you started taking over towards the end.
so yeah second session I fell apart, I forced playing and made lots of bad moves, I don't know how I got in them all but left and right people were catching everything, still up $3 for the day, I wish I could have closed the windows when I was up more but I got greedy.
FYI on 2/4 & 3/6 vid. After recording I continued playing on table with calslost guy, closed all the others. Got him down to just under $100 and he left.
Glad you guys like the vids, maybe next time I can make one with someone else playing while I commentate.
Kev, I ended the .10/.25 session up exactly 60 cents. Two key hands I lost was the JJ hand, only thing I could have done different was a larger preflop raise. I lost another pot to an 11 dollar stack like my second hand in on first table before I started recording because I was still trying to get 4 tables going. My KK lost to his AQ when board came 4 spades and I didn't have one.
Terry, Text me your email address and I will send it to Chris so you can contribute to blog.
What's up Jerrick! Just wanted to say the video helped a lot. My game's been pretty dry the last couple months but your vid and Poker Tracker is helping. I think before, my game was way too tight and my continuation bets weren't as big as they should've been. I was pretty much having to wait for hands and then not playing them aggressively enough leaving more opportunities for people to catch draws, hit 2 pair, etc. Needless to say, I've adopted your style and have been able to sit down and win some money for once. I'm up $200 averaging $25/hr on $0.25/0.50 short-handed for my last 2000 hands. I was up $300 @ $40/hr but I ran into some donkwork which I'll post about. Anyway, thanks for your help. It's a relief not having to play a dozen or more tables and wait to catch premium hands to grind out a couple thousand for the month ;)
