Where the hell is everyone?

Poker....ever heard of it? It's this neat little game with cards and chips and stuff. Anyway, I was just checking in since everyone disappeared so I'm not even sure if anyone will even read this. How's everyone doing? Winning? Losing? Playing the hottest new online multiplayer geekfest?

Anyway, I've gone back to my old ways for a bit (playing 8-12 tables of full ring). I've been winning so I'm happy about that. I think I need to grind myself out of the lower limits so I can go back to 6-handed.

Tournaments are going OK. I played in the WCOOP Appreciation Freeroll (anyone who played in the WCOOP got a ticket) yesterday. Took 251st out of 10,180 so that wasn't too bad...only won $31.50 but it was nice to go pretty deep. I'm playing in the $1 Million Turbo Takedown today so we'll see how that goes as well.

Hope all is well. Latez...

I have not been playing at all. I need to get back into it but it is difficult for me to handle the stress. I was doing well at $10 NL. I grew my $50 into $266 before I cashed it out. When I come back, I'll deposit $250 again and keep it going. I'll be back soon, just need a small break.

I know it's tough sometimes man. But think of it this way; you quintupled your investment. You are the envy of anyone with stocks right now! If I quintupled my bankroll I'd be fired up.

I've actually been grinding out $3.25 and $6.50 45 person turbo sit n go tourneys. I like them for a few reasons:

1. People play like donks thinking they need to make moves fast since it's a turbo...not true. There's enough time to wait for hands even though they only last about an hour. Tight aggressive owns these tourneys.

2. They're quick. I can play 4 tourneys in an hour and take a break if I need to.

3. If you lose, you only lose your buyin ($3.25 or $6.50) as opposed to playing at a cash table where you could get your money in with the best hand pf and some donkey gets lucky and takes your roll at the table ($10, $25 or more in one hand).

4. The ROI if you win is kick ass. You have to make it to 7th in a 45 person to cash and you pretty much double your buyin. If you win, multiply your buyin by about 13. So, at a $3.25 sng, 1st place get's $42...not bad for risking $3.25.

So far, the last couple weeks, I've kept my bankroll over $600 and I've cashed out weekly $250. I've been very disciplined about what buyins I play. I will only play the tourney if I have 100 times it's buyin. As long as I'm over $650 I'll be playing $6.50 tourneys. I know that may sound stingy but it's a good system I think.
